ISAIAH 41:17-20
17 “The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. 18 I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. 19 I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, 20 so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

WHAT IS OUR VISION?

We want to be a culturally relevant Church that never compromises on the teachings of scripture. We want to meet the physical needs as well as the Spiritual needs of our community through our congregation living out their faith.

WHY IS THIS OUR VISION?

We recognise that there are still many people in our community that do not know the Lord and we want to join into the work that God is doing in this area already. We believe that God has called us to make Him known to the world in a way that challenges people to change their lives for Him and live out their faith with passion. It is important that as believers our deeds reflect our faith. A sign of a faith filled church is through the way it takes care of the congregation and meet the needs in the community.

James 2:14-17
14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

HOW ARE WE GOING TO ACHIEVE THE VISION?

  • Establish a culture of acceptance, service and love.
  • Preach the word of God with authority.
  • Meet the physical needs of the community.
